Life Opportunities Unlimited in Ridgewood, NJ is seeking a Lead Program Specialist for Residential Services. You will oversee a 4–5 resident group home, ensuring resident well‑being, compliance with state and federal guidelines, and coordination with the Director of Residential Services.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a valid NJ driver’s license. Training and ongoing professional development are provided in a supportive, community‑oriented setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Full valid New Jersey Driver’s License, non-probationary, with no restrictions.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Preferred: CHHA, CNA, LNA, PCA, PCT, DSP certifications.
• Preferred: experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Proven professional written and verbal communication; adequate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the residential program to a high standard and ensure documentation aligns with policy and regulations.
• Ensure adequate staffing in the program at all times.
• Oversee all aspects of the group home and the well‑being of residents.
• Work under the Director of Residential Services; collaborate with LOU staff.
• Assist with personal hygiene, housekeeping, and meal preparation; transport clients as needed.
