Job summary

Opportunity Partners in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Residential Program Supervisor I to help adults with disabilities live independently in their homes and communities. You’ll support daily living, coordinate plans with the person’s care team, and supervise Direct Support Professionals.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Wage: $18.00–$23.00 per hour. This role emphasizes person-centered planning, safety, and community participation within a nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of supervisory experience
• Minimum of two years of human service experience in supporting adults or children with disabilities
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Participate in individual planning with each person served and facilitate team meetings
• Promote hobbies and recreational activities
• Assist with meal planning, grocery shopping, and cooking
• Schedule and attend medical appointments and provide medication administration
• Support and develop independent living skills
• Provide education and opportunities to problem solve regarding safety, apartment maintenance, finances, budgeting, social interactions, and self-advocacy
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals
• Provide training to personnel on health and support needs
• Manage and maintain staffing schedules to meet support needs
• Collaborate with the program manager regarding staff training and coaching
