Job summary

Opportunity Partners is seeking a Residential Program Supervisor II to help people with disabilities live independently in group homes and engage with their communities. You will support independence, coordinate care planning, and supervise direct support staff in a team-focused environment.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM with a wage of $20.00 per hour. This role offers full benefits, growth opportunities, and flexible scheduling to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

  • Designated Coordinator qualifications defined in the posting: degree and experience requirements.
  • Alternate pathways include associate degree with 2 years’ direct care experience.
  • Alternate pathways include diploma with 3 years’ direct care experience.
  • A minimum of 50 hours education/training and 4 years direct care experience under supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Supports people with disabilities to live independently in their homes and participate in communities.
  • Participates in individual planning and coordinates with care teams.
  • Promotes hobbies, recreation, and social activities; assists with meals and shopping.
  • Schedules medical appointments and provides medication administration.
  • Develops independent living skills and problem-solving for safety, finances, and self-advocacy.
  • Supervises Direct Support Professionals and coordinates staff training.
  • Manages staffing schedules to meet residents’ support needs and collaborates with program management.

Job Summary

As a Residential Program Supervisor II in our group homes, you will support people with disabilities to successfully live in their homes and participate in their communities. You will assist these individuals with increasing their independence and quality of life.

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday with varying hours between 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Wage: $20.00 per hour
How You Will Make a Difference

As part of our team, you will support people with disabilities in the following areas:

  • Participates in the individual planning process with each person served
  • Collaborate with a person’s care team and facilitate team meetings
  • Promote hobbies and recreational activities
  • Assist with meal planning, grocery/personal shopping, & cooking
  • Schedule and attend medical appointments & provide medication administration
  • Support & develop independent living skills
  • Provide education & opportunities to problem solve with regards to safety skills, apartment maintenance, finances and budgeting, social interactions, and self-advocacy
  • Supervise a staff of Direct Support Professionals
  • Provide training to personnel on person served health and support needs so individuals can live as independently as possible
  • Manage and maintain staffing schedule to ensure people’s support needs are met
  • Collaborate with the program manager regarding staff training and coaching

  • Must meet the Qualification as a Designated Coordinator (see standards below)
Designated Coordinator Qualifications
  • A designated coordinator may have a baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services, education, or health and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons aged 65 and older or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children.
  • A designated coordinator may have an associate degree in a field related to human services, education, or health and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons aged 65 and older, or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children.
  • A designated coordinator may have a diploma in a field related to human services, education, or health from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons aged 65 or older or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children.
  • A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services, education, or health and four years full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons aged 65 and older or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children and is under the supervision of staff person who meets the designated coordinator qualifications listed above.
