Job summary

Heart Havens is seeking a House Manager to oversee residential programs in Virginia, supervising Lead DSPs and DSPs, and ensuring compliance with policies and state regulations. The role supports adults with developmental disabilities and requires a passion for resident-centered care.

You will collaborate with the Regional Program Manager, manage staffing, approve documentation, and lead training and staff meetings to maintain high-quality services and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in Human Services or related field required; minimum 3 years leadership experience; 5 years leadership if using experience to replace degree requirement.
• Valid Virginia driver’s license is required.
• Demonstrate Heart Havens’ mission and values through daily actions and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the residential program and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Supervise Lead DSPs and DSPs; conduct supervision meetings and evaluations.
• Develop monthly staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage.
• Provide direct resident support including medication administration and ADLs.
• Communicate hiring needs and staffing concerns to Regional Program Manager.
• Maintain resident health records and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Oversee budgetary guidelines and approve meals and expenses.
