Job summary

Passavant Memorial Homes seeks a Program Specialist to oversee safety and well-being of individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting in Mount Pleasant. You will coordinate activities and community integration per each IP and supervise Direct Support Professionals to ensure high-quality services.

The role reports to the Program Operations Director and requires advanced education with relevant disability services experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with 6400 regulations required.
• Master’s degree or higher with one year of direct experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise activities for individuals in accordance with IP.
• Coordinate and oversee Direct Support Professionals’ responsibilities.
• Complete attendance and payroll records for Direct Support Professionals.
• Hold regular meetings with DSPs to review needs and provide training.
• Ensure budgetary compliance and fiscal accountability for residential programs.
• Ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Develop IP assessments, IP Annual updates, and revisions as required.
• Participate in IP processes and team reviews.
