The shift for this position will be Monday through Friday 8am-4pm, with some flexibility required. The Program Specialist will coordinate training and guidance to pertinent team members to help the people we support achieve their maximum potential in activities of daily living, personal care, functional activities and community participation, using positive approaches while respecting the

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate training and guidance to team members to assist people supported to achieve maximum potential in ADLs, personal care, functional activities and community participation.
• Work within Chapter 5100 and 6400 regulations and apply Everyday Lives, person-centered approaches, and rights-based practices.
• Shift is Monday–Friday 8am–4pm with some flexibility as required.

QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

(A program specialist shall have one of the following groups of qualifications)

• A master’s degree or above from an accredited college or university and 1 year work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability.

OR

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability.

OR

• An associate’s degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and 4 years work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability.

Salary Description

$22.00-$26.95/hr
