Job summary

Community Options, Inc. is seeking an experienced Residential Program Manager in Mechanicsburg, PA to lead a team providing person-centered care for individuals with IDD.

You will support day-to-day operations, ensure proper staffing, and drive programmatic goals with a focus on safety, compliance, and quality care. The role requires knowledge of regulatory standards, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate with families and guardians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or high school diploma/equivalent with relevant experience
• 2+ years of full-time work experience supporting people with disabilities
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Knowledge of state regulatory operations for IDD services
• Background checks and drug testing required

Responsibilities

• Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing
• Lead team performance through communication, training, and recognition
• Develop and implement activity programs including Meaningful Day curriculum
• Communicate with families/guardians as needed
• Ensure ISP/PCP compliance, including medication management and meal planning
• Complete program documentation and billable records accurately
• Monitor health/medical needs and report concerns
• Maintain relationships with families/guardians
• Ensure work locations/vehicles are clean and stocked
• Cooperate with licensing and staff during inspections
