Job summary

Community Options, Inc. in Rio Rancho, NM seeks an experienced Residential Program Manager to lead a team delivering person-centered care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role supports day-to-day operations and helps teams meet programmatic goals.

Starting pay is $50,000 per year. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or high school diploma with disability-services experience, valid driver’s license, and compliance with background checks and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in supporting individuals with disabilities is required.
• Knowledge of state regulatory agency operations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffed
• Manage team performance through communication, training, performance management, staff meetings, and recognition
• Develop and implement activity programs including the Meaningful Day curriculum
• Communicate with families and guardians of individuals we support
• Ensure individuals are supported per ISP/PCP including medication management, meal planning, and behavior management
• Ensure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately and timely
• Monitor health and medical needs of individuals and report concerns
• Manage relationships with families and guardians
• Maintain clean, well-stocked locations and vehicles with necessary supplies
• Cooperate with license and department staff during inspections
