Job summary

Community Options, Inc. is actively seeking an experienced Residential Program Manager in Rutherford, TN.

The role leads a team to provide person-centered care tailored to meet the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The position emphasizes day-to-day operations, program development, and collaboration with families, guardians, and licensing bodies to ensure ISP/PCP alignment, medication management, documentation, and ongoing staff training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Knowledge of state regulatory agency operations for IDD services.
• Background checks including criminal, central registry, child abuse, and drug testing required.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffed
• Lead team through communication, training, performance management and staff meetings
• Develop and implement activity programs including the Meaningful Day curriculum
• Communicate with families and guardians as needed
• Ensure ISP/PCP-based supports including medication management, meals, and behavior
• Ensure program documentation and billable records are accurate and timely
• Monitor health and medical needs and report concerns immediately
• Maintain relationships with families and guardians
• Ensure work locations and vehicles are clean, well maintained, and stocked with supplies
• Cooperate with licensing and department staff during inspections
