Job summary

AHRC Nassau is seeking a supervisor for the Community Living Services Program in Westbury, NY. You will directly manage a residential site, overseeing staff to ensure safety and quality of life for the people we support.

The role requires supervisory experience, a NYS driver’s license, and AMAP certification. You will implement OPWDD and agency policies, manage staffing and budgets, and keep regulatory paperwork up to date.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience supporting people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Valid NYS Driver's License.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good organizational and administrative skills.
• AMAP certified.
• Prior domestic household experience required.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of a residence in the Community Living Services Program.
• Ongoing supervision of Assistant Manager and Direct Support Professionals to ensure residents have a safe, quality life and the site runs efficiently.
• Implement OPWDD regulations, COMPASS, CQL, and Agency policies and procedures.
• Coordinate staffing by completing weekly staffing schedules within the approved site budget.
• Manage all operational budgets (overtime, FTEs, food/nonfood) to stay within budget.
• Maintain individuals' records and required paperwork per regulations.
• Oversee individuals' bank accounts and personal allowances.
• Process time and attendance payroll for all site staff.
• Document staff performance and time/attendance issues to ensure effective supervision.
• Participate in CLS program's on-call system.
• Attend management, cluster, and individuals' related meetings.
