Job summary

Rimrock Trails in Prineville, OR, seeks a Residential Assistant Program Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a residential program, ensuring high-quality care for youth. You will supervise staff, coordinate schedules, and ensure thorough documentation and case management in line with policy and regulations.

Responsibilities include staff coaching, training facilitation, crisis de-escalation, and maintaining healthy staff-to-youth ratios.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least three years in residential treatment or related behavioral health.
• At least one year in management, supervisory or leadership roles.
• Previous training in crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies.
• Demonstrated trauma-informed care with youth clients and staff.
• Ability to remain calm and regulate emotions in high-stress environments.
• Ability to form authentic therapeutic relationships and build trust.

Responsibilities

• Supervise line staff and document supervision activities.
• Lead Collaborative Problem-Solving with the care team and HR/Program Manager.
• Oversee weekly staff schedules and maintain staff/client ratios.
• Coordinate and deliver required trainings and track completion timelines.
• Approve timecards and monitor staff absences.
• Complete performance evaluations and supervise daily routines.
• Facilitate shift change huddles and ensure complete documentation.
• Maintain ongoing professional dialogue with the Care Team and Therapist/Case Manager.
• Communicate policy changes and treatment information to youth counselors.
