Job summary

Charles River Center is seeking an Assistant Program Director to support daily operations in a residential program. You will supervise shifts, train staff, and ensure ISP, activity schedules, and meal plans are followed.

The role involves coordinating with nursing staff, handling case management support, and partnering with families and referral agencies to reach person-centered goals, while promoting Positive Behavioral Supports and community inclusion.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a Direct Care position.
• 1 year of staff supervision is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Successful completion of state and agency trainings: First Aid/CPR, DDS Medication Administration, Safety Care/Legal Certificate, DPPC/ DDS background check.
• Must consent to CORI and release of information.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Director in supervising, training, and evaluating staff.
• Participate in intake and orientation for new individuals and support planning.
• Assist with ISP implementation, schedules, and menus.
• Coordinate medical/clinical appointments with nursing staff.
