Job summary

Community Options, Inc. is seeking an experienced Residential Program Manager in Scotrun, PA to lead teams delivering person-centered care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role involves coordinating day-to-day operations, staff scheduling, and guiding programmatic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years’ full-time work experience in supporting people with disabilities.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Knowledge of state regulatory agency operations and standards relevant to supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Employment contingent upon successful completion of background checks and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffed.
• Lead team performance through communication, training, performance management, staff meetings, and recognition.
• Develop and implement activity programs including Meaningful Day curriculum.
• Communicate with families and guardians as needed.
• Support individuals per ISP/PCP including medication management, meal planning, and behavior management.
• Ensure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately and timely.
• Monitor health and medical needs and report concerns immediately.
• Maintain relationships with families and guardians of individuals in care.
• Keep work locations and vehicles clean, well maintained, and stocked with supplies.
• Cooperate with license and department staff during inspections.

Education
