Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to support a DSS-funded residential program serving adults with disabilities in East Haven, CT. The role bridges direct care staff and leadership, ensuring person-centered services and regulatory compliance while coordinating teams.

This full-time position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 2–3 years in IDD services, and leadership ability. Competitive benefits and a starting pay of $50,000 annually are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
• 2–3 years’ experience in IDD services, preferably in a residential setting.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, administrative and communication skills.
• Must have valid driver’s license and satisfactory background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Manager in the daily operation and oversight of a residential program.
• Provide hands-on leadership, staff guidance, and administrative support.
