Job summary
A community-focused mental health organization in Poughkeepsie, New York is seeking part-time staff to assist in a residential program. Responsibilities include supporting staff, documenting interactions with residents, conducting security checks, and administering tests. Qualifications
Experience with direct care in a residential setting desired, but not required.
CNA, HHA, PCA, Residential and Milieu Counselors are welcome to apply.
Valid driver's license preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
Assist staff with day-to-day operations of the residential program.
Document notable observations and/or significant interactions with residents.
Conduct rounds and security checks of the residents and facility.
Conduct routine and random searches of resident's personal property.
Administer breathalyzer and drug screen tests.
Assist and oversee residents with self-administration of medication.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director or House Manager.
