GAF in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Product Marketing Intern to join the Residential Product Management and Product Marketing teams for a 10-week summer program.

You will learn how products are developed, positioned and delivered, work with tools like Tableau, Google Analytics, and Google Workspace, and support cross-functional teams across R&D, Manufacturing and Sales. This paid internship runs May 24, 2027 to August 6, 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Active student status for Summer 2027 (Sophomores/Juniors).
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work with Product Managers to understand residential product lineup and positioning.

The intern will work with both our **Residential Product Management and Product Marketing** teams, gaining comprehensive exposure to how products are conceptualized, engineered, evaluated, positioned, and delivered to market. During your 10 week program, you will have the opportunity to learn, contribute and develop leadership skills through your project assignment, Leadership Dialogues and Professional Development Workshops.**Essential Duties** Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* Work closely with Product Managers to develop a solid understanding of the GAF residential product lineup, core value propositions, product positioning, and the competitive landscape.* Leverage enterprise tools—including Tableau, TM1, Google Analytics, Workfront, and Google Workspace—to evaluate product performance, analyze portfolio metrics, and deliver data-backed insights to the product team.* Assist with periodic internal and external performance reporting, actively identifying opportunities to streamline data collection, eliminate redundancies, and automate repetitive tasks.* Gain hands-on exposure to how product marketing initiatives are developed and activated across multiple touchpoints, including digital platforms, print collateral, and external communications.* Gain foundational knowledge of how marketing collateral is created, maintained, and automated across print and digital formats, while learning the operational workflows behind physical/digital sample development, inventory tracking, and vendor management.* Partner across key functions—including R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Creative, Digital, Finance, Sales, external vendors, and customers—to advance team priorities and residential product initiatives.**Under This Roof, We Require*** Excellent communication skills are all necessary as is the ability to operate in a team.* The successful candidate must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0. Current Sophomores (Graduating 2029) or current Juniors (Graduating 2028)* Ability to participate from May 24, 2027 - August 6, 2027* Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States, without visa sponsorship now and in the future.All GAF internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however, there are no benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 40 hours per week over the summer.
