Job summary

Real Property Management Express seeks an Area Manager to lead a residential property portfolio of 300–400 units, ensuring consistency and performance across sites. You will drive operations, leasing activity, and on-site team effectiveness.

Expect hands-on leadership, regional travel, and accountability for financials, compliance, and resident satisfaction that delivers reliable results.

Qualifications

Experience in property management, real estate operations, or related field.
Experience leading or supervising teams.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to review and interpret basic financial reports and operational data.
Clear, direct communication style with the ability to hold standards.
Ability to manage multiple properties, priorities, and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations across a portfolio of properties (300–400 units).
Monitor occupancy, leasing activity, and renewals to minimize vacancy loss.
Review property financials (rent rolls, expenses, income) and identify issues or opportunities.
Ensure rent collection processes are consistent and delinquency is addressed.
Maintain property standards including safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal.
Coordinate with maintenance teams and vendors for timely, cost-effective work.
Lead, coach, and support on-site team members including hiring and performance management.
