Job summary

Durst Residential seeks a Vacation Replacement Porter to provide exceptional service to building residents, guests, and prospective tenants. The role involves maintaining lobbies and common areas, performing light maintenance, and supporting move-in and resident satisfaction initiatives.

Shifts vary (including early mornings and late nights). The position runs March 1st to November 1st, 2026, with potential longer-term retention based on business needs and performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years porter/handyperson experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Operate heavy and specialized custodial equipment
• Work any shift during seven days of the week
• Read/write/communicate in English
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Follow health and safety regulations

Responsibilities

• Perform daily property maintenance and cleaning throughout the building.
• Maintain excellent customer service relationships per Durst Residential standards.
• Adhere to Durst Residential SOPs.
• Assist in supervising contractors and vendors on site.
• Keep building grounds and common areas clean according to standards.
• Maintain and organize supplies and supply lists; place orders when necessary.
