One Stop Management in Brooklyn, NY is hiring a dependable Porter/Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of a 189-unit+ residential building. This full-time role emphasizes daily cleaning, trash disposal, and light maintenance support to keep lobbies, corridors, and shared spaces welcoming for residents.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of janitorial experience, can lift up to 50 lbs, and works well independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in janitorial or building maintenance
• Knowledge of cleaning protocols and chemical safety
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Reliable, punctual, able to work independently or with a team
• High school diploma preferred; OSHA certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas in a 189+-unit residential building
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust daily
• Clean interior/exterior glass, doors, windows
• Sanitize high-touch surfaces regularly
• Remove trash and assist with disposal
• Support light maintenance tasks and supply restocking
• Report safety hazards to management
• Assist with move-ins/outs and event setups
• Assist with snow removal and seasonal maintenance
