Inception Plumbing, LLC. is seeking a highly experienced full-time Residential Plumbing Tech to join our Kansas City team in Missouri. The role offers a competitive compensation range of $85,000–$130,000+ per year plus comprehensive benefits.

TheResidential Plumbing Tech will service homes in the Kansas City area, with a schedule that avoids weekends and on-call rotations. You will work from a company vehicle, using CRM and dispatch software to manage daily assignments and keep homeowners

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential service plumbing experience.
• Knowledge of residential plumbing systems and code.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record and Class E eligibility.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfort with tablets, CRM, and dispatching software.
• Ability to diagnose systems and explain options to homeowners.
• Commitment to safety, professionalism, and quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair fixtures such as faucets, toilets, disposals, and water heaters.
• Repair gas lines, leaks, water service, and filtration systems.
• Perform general plumbing upgrades and system improvements.
• Interact with homeowners, provide explanations and recommendations.
• Document work accurately and use dispatch/CRM tech daily.

Residential Plumbing Techs dispatch directly from home each morning in a fully stocked company vehicle. The schedule is structured for consistency and efficiency, with no weekends and no on-call rotations required. You will utilize industry-leading CRM and dispatching software to manage your daily assignments, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule while serving homeowners throughout the Kansas City area.

YOUR ROLE:

As a Residential Plumbing Tech, your responsibilities will include diagnosing and repairing issues related to faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, water heaters, tankless systems, gas and leak repairs, water service and filtration systems, and general plumbing upgrades. You will interact directly with homeowners, provide clear explanations and recommendations, and ensure the safety and integrity of each property. Accurate documentation, professionalism, and the use of technology are integral to your daily routine. Every day presents new challenges and opportunities to apply your expertise while maintaining high standards of service and workmanship.

Residential Plumbing Tech Requirements:

• 3+ years of residential service plumbing experience
• Knowledge of residential plumbing systems and the plumbing code
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to obtain/maintain a Class E license
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfort with tablets, CRM, and dispatching software
• Ability to diagnose plumbing systems and provide clear options to homeowners
