Boston Budget Plumbing in Quincy, MA is seeking an experienced Plumbing Apprentice with two to three years of hands-on experience to join our residential service and installation team.

This role supports your progression toward Massachusetts journeyman licensure and involves installing, servicing, and repairing plumbing and heating systems in a range of residential settings under the Lead Plumber. We value professionalism, reliability, and a strong commitment to advancing in the trade.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of verifiable hands-on plumbing experience.
• Active Massachusetts apprentice plumber registration, or eligibility to register or transfer promptly.
• Applicants behind on classroom hours are encouraged to apply; we can assist.
• Fundamentals such as soldering, press fittings, PEX, DWV, fixture setting, and water heater basics.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential installation, service, and repair work on plumbing and heating systems.
• Complete assigned portions of a job from takeoff through cleanup with supervision from Lead Plumber.
• Diagnose common service calls and escalate more complex issues when needed.
• Maintain trucks, tools, and jobsites in organized, well-stocked condition.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners regarding scope of work and recommendations.
