Job summary

Minuteman Plumbing, Heating & Cooling in Hingham, MA is expanding its residential plumbing service team and seeks a Plumbing Service Apprentice who is eager to learn. No plumbing experience is required; you’ll gain hands-on training on the job and through paid schooling toward your license.

You’ll ride along with a licensed plumber, assist with diagnosing and repairing systems, communicate clearly with customers, keep truck and tools ready, and attend apprenticeship schooling toward licensure,

Qualifications

• No plumbing experience required; willing to learn and grow in the trade.
• Strong communication and customer-facing soft skills.
• Coachable, reliable, and eager to develop.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Ride along with a licensed plumber on residential service calls.
• Assist with diagnosing and repairing plumbing systems, including water heaters, fixtures, and drain lines.
• Learn to communicate clearly and professionally with customers about the work being done.
• Keep the truck, tools, and job site organized and ready for the next call.
• Follow safety and code requirements on every job.
• Attend required apprenticeship schooling and coursework toward licensure.
• Build toward working more independently as skills develop.

Minuteman Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is a growing residential service company serving Hingham and the South Shore. We're building out our plumbing service team and looking for a Plumbing Service Apprentice who is ready to learn the trade from the ground up. No plumbing experience required, just the right attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to develop, backed by paid schooling toward your license.
