Ryan Lawn & Tree in Overland Park, KS is seeking a residential pest control technician to manage an established route and provide home insect protection for common household pests. You will also progress into termite and rodent exclusion services as the division grows.

This is a safety‑sensitive role requiring a pre‑employment drug screen, background check, MVR check, and, where applicable, a DOT physical. Starting compensation is $43,000+ with bonus opportunities and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge diagnosing pest activity around residential structures and selecting treatments.
• Good physical ability for crawlspaces, attics, outdoors in all weather.
• Excellent customer service and professional communication.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass DOT screen where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Run and manage an established residential pest control route with professionalism and efficiency.
• Provide comprehensive home insect protection services for common household pests.
• Deliver rodent management including baiting, trapping, and monitoring.
• Perform flea, tick, and mosquito control treatments for residential properties.
• Diagnose pest pressures and apply appropriate products and methods.
• Maintain detailed service records and follow-up documentation.
• Educate clients on prevention strategies and set expectations.
• Provide outstanding customer service and clear communication at every visit.
• Termite inspections and treatments and barrier installations in growth path.
• Identify and seal entry points for rodent exclusion and design long-term plans.
