Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking a Pest Control Technician to deliver industry-leading pest management services for residential customers. You will identify pests, determine infestation types, apply pesticides and traps, and provide preventative measures while communicating solutions to clients.

Responsibilities include inspecting properties, applying treatments, educating customers, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly with customers.
• Basic math for following product labels and instructions.
• Customer-facing experience is preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license; company vehicle provided.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to eliminate pests safely.
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and how to reduce future infestations.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule appointments, and assist with sales to current and new customers.
• Ensure pest control equipment is maintained, stocked, and in good working condition.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations relating to pest control products and safety protocols.
• Drive and operate a company-provided service vehicle.
