Job summary

Rentokil North America, Inc. is seeking a Pest Control Technician to conduct inspections, identify pest issues, apply treatments, and advise customers on prevention. You will travel in a company vehicle, meet regulatory safety standards, and provide high-quality service in residential settings.

The role emphasizes customer interaction, ongoing learning, and adherence to safety protocols while contributing to growth within the Rentokil family of companies across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and related experience or training
• Strong reading, writing and verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills for mixing on product labels
• Customer-facing experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to eliminate pests safely
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and reducing future infestations
• Build relationships with customers, schedule appointments, assist sales and expand product reach
• Maintain and check pest control equipment and ensure it is stocked and functional
• Adhere to all regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols
• Drive and operate a company-provided service vehicle
