Job summary

Terminix International is seeking a Residential Sales Specialist to sell pest management services to homeowners. You will assess customer needs via analysis, inspect properties, and propose effective pest control solutions while coordinating with service teams.

The role requires 1+ year of sales or pest technician experience, strong communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel up to 100% within the territory. Base pay ranges per hour with potential for incentives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pest industry certifications a plus.
• 1+ years of sales or pest technician experience.
• 2+ years in a customer service role preferred.
• Effective verbal communicator with customer-facing conversations and presentations.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel up to 100%.

Responsibilities

• Sell residential pest management services and products to new and existing customers.
• Perform needs analyses to assess customer concerns and select appropriate products.
• Visually inspect homes for pests, harborage, and entry points; propose solutions.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Inside Sales, and technicians to maximize opportunities.
• Develop proposals with Branch Manager and follow up on past proposals to close sales.
