Job summary

The Next Door Nashville is seeking a Peer Recovery Specialist to provide client supervision in a supportive treatment setting, collaborating with clinical staff to promote recovery for women. The role centers on guiding clients through personal recovery goals, arranging group and individual sessions, and supporting self-help and aftercare activities.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Associate degree or some college preferred.
CPRS Certification preferred within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

Assist clients in articulating personal recovery goals through one-to-one and group sessions.
Assist clients in coordinating with their treatment team to plan steps toward self-directed recovery.
Support clients in establishing and sustaining self-help groups and joining existing groups.
Lead aftercare group activities and related events.
Model coping techniques and self-help strategies for clients.
Provide timely, professional documentation of client interactions per TNDR guidelines.
Attend meetings and trainings as required by supervisor.
