The position requires Tennessee CPRS certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days, 1 year of peer recovery experience, and 3 years in human services. Hybrid work model with field visits and office duties in Nashville.

Qualificações

• Must identify as a person in recovery from mental illness, addiction, or both.
• Must be certified by Tennessee as a Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) or be willing to obtain that credential within 90 days of hire.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience working in a peer recovery support role.
• Must have at least 3 years’ experience working in a human services field.
• Able to demonstrate strong peer support competencies and ethical behaviors.
• Must have proven written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field preferred; experience in a peer support role may be substituted for college degree.
• Must have a valid Tennessee Driver’s License.

Responsabilidades

• Engage residents using trauma-informed approaches and build rapport.
• Provide recovery-oriented tenancy support using a strengths-based, person-centered approach.
• Help PSH members achieve personally meaningful goals beyond clinical care.
• Support PSH members with whole health recovery addressing mind and body.
• Share experiences to combat internalized stigma and foster hope.
• Coach PSH members on independent living skills and connect with resources.
• Encourage engagement with community employment, volunteering, and social activities.
• Develop documentation for agency and funding requirements within deadlines.
• Communicate with internal and external partners via telephone, email, and chat.
• Attend staff and supervision meetings; assist with events and on-call duties.
• Follow personnel policies and Park Center’s Code of Ethics.
