Job summary

Five Star Painting in Texas seeks a Project Manager to coordinate residential and light commercial painting jobs from estimate to completion. You will serve as the primary contact among homeowners, architects, contractors and crews, ensuring the written proposal, change orders and schedules reflect the scope and budget.

You will lead safety meetings, control costs, manage subcontractors, and keep projects on time and within budget while delivering high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project management experience.
• Ability to hire and coordinate subcontractors.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented with good time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure assigned projects are on schedule and within budget while meeting client needs and delivering quality.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate painting projects from estimate to completion.
• Coordinate with homeowners, architects, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Schedule and manage subcontracts, purchase orders and change orders as needed.
• Manage painting subcontractor crews and maintain appropriate crew-to-estimator ratios.
• Lead safety meetings and document as necessary.
• Ensure proper document control and record keeping.
• Prepare conceptual estimates and assist in proposals.
