This is a full-time, 1099 independent contractor role with pay ranging from $20 to $30 per hour based on experience, plus a 30-minute paid lunch. Reliability and team communication are essential in our on-site workflow.

Qualifications

• 1+ year painting experience preferred (but not required)
• Reliable transportation to job sites in the McLean and greater DMV area
• Ability to lift and move equipment/materials (50+ lbs)
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Prep, prime, and paint walls, ceilings, trim, and other surfaces
• Apply finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers as appropriate
• Patch drywall, repair surface defects, and ensure clean lines and even coverage
• Mask and protect non-painted surfaces (floors, windows, hardware, etc.)
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Communicate with team leads and clients professionally
• Follow company safety and quality procedures on-site
