Job summary

F & C Enterprises Inc is seeking a dedicated residential/commercial painter in Pleasanton, CA to prepare and perform exterior and interior painting in residential and light commercial settings. You will apply paints with brushes and rollers, interact with customers, estimate materials, prep surfaces, and ensure quality workmanship.

A valid driver's license and ability to lift 20 lbs are required. Health insurance is provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Paint using brushes and rollers with proper techniques.
• Interact professionally with customers, evaluate requests, price projects, troubleshoot issues, and describe work orders as needed.
• Identify materials and quantities for new and existing projects.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or other means.
• Mix, match, and blend paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and coatings.
• Use caulk or putty to repair holes and cracks.
• Inspect paint jobs for quality.
• Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques
• Interact professionally with customers, evaluating requests, pricing projects, troubleshooting issues, and describing work orders as needed
• Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary
• Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired color, consistency, and drying properties
• Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks
• Inspect paint jobs for quality
• Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment
