Mental Health and Substance Abuse Organization in Fort Lauderdale seeks an experienced Residential Behavioral Health Operations Supervisor to lead the daily, 24/7 administrative and operational functions of our residential treatment facility.

You will provide strategic leadership and daily oversight to facility staff and Behavioral Health Technicians, ensuring patient safety, operational efficiency, and effective scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of behavioral health regulations.
• At least 2 years of Residential experience required.
• At least 2 years of Supervisory experience.
• Substance abuse experience preferred.
• Able to work with a diverse range of clients and staff.
• Exceptional leadership, de-escalation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily work of Behavioral Health Technicians and support staff, including recruitment, performance management, and shift scheduling.
• Monitor attendance and maintain adequate shift coverage across a 24/7 schedule for morning, evening, and overnight shifts.
• Coordinate residents' daily living activities, meals, medication passes, group schedules, and transportation.
• Respond to urgent behavioral crises, guiding staff on de-escalation and safety protocols.
• Conduct weekly and monthly staff meetings and training.

We are seeking an experienced Residential Behavioral Health Operations Supervisor to lead the daily, 24/7 administrative and operational functions of our residential treatment facility. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership and daily oversight to our facility support staff and Behavioral Health Technicians. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety, driving operational efficiency, and optimizing daily scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the daily work of Behavioral Health Technicians and support staff, including assisting with recruiting, performance management, and shift scheduling.
• Monitor attendance and maintain adequate shift coverage across a 24/7 work schedule to ensure high-quality care across morning, evening, and overnight shifts.
• Coordinate logistics for residents' daily living activities, including meals, medication passes, group schedules, coordinate residents’ on-site activities, recreational outings, and transportation.
• Respond immediately to urgent behavioral crises, guiding staff on proper de-escalation and safety protocols.
• Conduct weekly and monthly staff meetings and training.

Minimum Qualifications
