Job summary

Upstate Caring Partners in Central New York is seeking a Residence Manager to oversee daily shift operations at our residential facility. You will coordinate staff training, ensure IPP implementation, and advocate for individuals to engage with community activities.

You will maintain records, supervise staff, monitor building safety, and collaborate with families, vendors, and program teams to meet regulatory standards and enhance quality of life for the people we support.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Human Services or related field required; BS/BA preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a residential or similar setting.
• Proficient with basic computer programs, including Windows Office.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Role model positive communication and social skills.
• Implement and document Individual Program Plans (IPP).
• Support individuals to achieve goals and behavior plans.
• Oversee safety and well-being of residents.
• Maintain records and reports as directed.
• Supervise daily shift operations of the residence.
• Address daily issues and conflicts with the leadership team.
• Manage purchasing records and petty cash.
• Establish contact with vendors and build partnerships.
• Monitor facility condition and security.
