Job summary

Fairgrove Property Management in Irvine, CA is seeking an Onsite Manager for our apartment community. This part-time role (25-30 hours/week) involves leasing, marketing, resident services and turnover management, with you as the main contact for residents and vendors.

You will oversee 52 units, conduct unit turnovers, show vacancies, and maintain records in AppFolio. Housing is provided (2.5-bedroom unit) onsite, with a requirement to live on site.

Job Summary

An Onsite Manager is responsible for the overall management of the day-to-day operations of the apartment community including leasing, marketing, resident services, and turn over management. An Onsite Manager must maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with prospects, residents, vendors, and fellow employees always.

Part-Time Position

Hours: 25-30 hours per week

Responsibilities

Oversee 1 building with a total of 52 units

• Be the main contact for residents and vendors.
• Respond to emergencies, including after-hours issues.
• Handle leasing, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals.
• Show available units and market vacancies.
• Maintain resident and property records in AppFolio.
• Conduct inspections and coordinate unit turnovers.
• Keep the property clean and well-maintained, including light porter duties (sweeping and cleaning).
• Coordinate vendors and monitor completed work.
• Track vacancies, work orders, and other property performance metrics.
• Review and approve vendor invoices.
• Order property supplies and maintain inventory.
• Stay up to date on landlord-tenant and fair housing laws.
• Attend company meetings and training.

Compensation

$20.00 per hour

Discounted 2.5 bedroom unit available. Must live onsite.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of property management experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Must be willing to live onsite.
• Experience with Microsoft Office; AppFolio experience is a plus.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Available to work weekends when needed.
• Valid driver's and a clean driving record.
