Job summary

The McCall Behavioral Health Network seeks a Residential Nurse to join our team in Connecticut. You will collaborate with medical providers and treatment staff to deliver holistic care, oversee medications, and support recovery-focused activities.

This full-time, non-exempt position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for Registered Nurses, with a Monday–Friday 1st shift schedule and a starting pay range. A valid CT RN license and experience in behavioral health are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in CT.
• Experience with behavioral health and recovery is preferred.
• Experience with EHR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen referrals and complete alcohol/drug focused assessments during admission.
• Coordinate care for all health needs with the treatment team.
• Facilitate biopsychosocial-educational groups focused on health.
• Maintain clinical records and reports per timelines.
• Assist in developing recovery plans and connect to resources.

Job description

Residential Nurse - Sign-On Bonus of $5,000 for Registered Nurses

The Residential Nurse works collaboratively with the medical provider and the rest of the residential treatment team to provide holistic care. This will include providing alcohol and drug focused nursing assessments, oversight of medication and self-administration, coordination of care for ongoing treatment, and facilitating biopsychosocial groups.

Full-Time / Non-Exempt

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 1st shift

Pay Range begins at $40.00

Qualifications

Registered Nurse in the State of CT. Previous experience with recovering persons and behavioral health is preferred. Previous experience with an electronic health record preferred. Must have organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk, using the phone, and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.

Valid Driver’s license.
