Job summary

Con App Inc. is seeking experienced Residential New Construction Painters to join our production painting team in and around Richmond, VA. This full-time, hourly role offers a stable schedule, guaranteed workweeks, and opportunities for overtime with weekly pay.

Ideal candidates have residential new construction painting experience and can work independently or as part of a crew. Benefits include health options and company-provided transportation; travel between jobsites is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous painting experience required.
• Residential new construction painting experience preferred.
• Proficiency with standard brushes and rollers.
• Knowledge of basic surface preparation and paint application techniques.
• Ability to produce clean, consistent paint coverage.
• Ability to identify and correct paint defects.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality.
• Ability to work independently when required.

Responsibilities

• Apply paint using standard brushes and rollers.
• Prepare residential surfaces for paint application.
• Protect floors, windows, fixtures, cabinets and other finished surfaces as required.
• Maintain clean lines and consistent coverage.
• Identify and correct paint defects and surface imperfections.
• Perform paint touch-up and punch work.
• Complete final paint corrections as homes progress toward settlement.
• Maintain production expectations while meeting company quality standards.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and properly care for tools.
• Work independently on assigned homes or tasks.
• Work as part of a painting crew when needed.
• Coordinate with supervisors based on production schedule.
• Follow safety procedures and builder requirements.
• Inspect completed work and ensure quality.
