Job summary

Con App Inc. is hiring a Residential New Construction Painter in Sykesville, MD. The role focuses on preparing surfaces, applying paint, and delivering clean, efficient coverage for new construction homes. Experience with brushes, rollers, and basic surface prep is required, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

You’ll work full-time, 40+ hours with overtime, and may receive a company-provided vehicle and health insurance options. Travel between jobsites is paid, and weekly pay is offered.

Qualifications

• Previous painting experience required.
• Residential new construction painting experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency using standard paint brushes and rollers.
• Knowledge of basic surface preparation and paint application.
• Ability to produce clean, consistent coverage and correct defects.
• Reliable attendance and communication.
• Strong attention to quality, cleanliness, and safety.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and/or Spanish preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare residential surfaces and apply paint using brushes and rollers.
• Maintain clean lines, consistent coverage, and quality workmanship.
• Protect floors, windows, cabinets, fixtures, and other finished surfaces.
• Identify and correct paint defects and surface imperfections.
• Perform touch-up, punch, and final correction work.
• Complete paint work for homes approaching homeowner pre-settlement inspections.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Safely operate and care for painting tools and equipment.
• Work independently or effectively as part of a painting crew.
• Follow company safety procedures and jobsite requirements.
