Job summary

Immanuel Living is seeking a Moving Technician to support both maintenance tasks in residents' homes and hands-on assistance with residential moves. You will complete maintenance work orders, perform basic repairs, conduct safety checks, and help relocate furniture and boxes with care.

The role requires lifting 50+ pounds, the ability to work under deadlines, and a valid Montana driver's license. Experience in senior living or regulated environments is a plus; a safety-minded, courteous mindset

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• 3 to 5 years of maintenance experience.
• Experience in Senior Living, multifamily housing, or regulated residential environments is a plus.
• Current Montana Driver’s License in good standing that is valid and insurable.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance work orders professionally and efficiently.
• Perform basic household repairs, including minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance.
• Conduct safety checks and report hazards or repair needs to the Operations Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed.
• Safely lift, carry, move, and relocate furniture, boxes, and personal belongings.
• Use moving equipment such as dollies, pads, straps, and ramps correctly.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring proper protection of items.
• Provide courteous and supportive assistance to residents during moves.
