Job summary

Vitality Living Group is seeking a Maintenance Associate to support a vibrant residential community. You will perform routine maintenance, floor care, and light repairs while assisting residents and staff with moving needs and deliveries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years painting/wallcovering experience in a residential setting.
• Electrical and plumbing experience.
• Proficiency in the English language.
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions.
• Willingness to be available for emergencies and on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance as directed by supervisor.
• Empty and collect trash throughout the community.
• Strip, wax, and buff floors on a scheduled basis and as needed.
• Move furniture and assist residents with moving needs.
• Assist with grounds care as necessary.
• Handle deliveries from loading areas to proper locations in the building.
• Perform work orders including minor repairs to buildings and equipment.
• Support security details and follow protocols for safety and confidentiality.
• Maintain tools, equipment and supplies in good condition and report needs.
• Observe safety policies, infection control procedures, and resident rights at all times.
• Attend trainings and team meetings as assigned.
• Contribute to a culture of accountability and resident safety.
• Be dependable, punctual, and compliant with attendance policies.
• Assist with onboarding and participate in routine in-services.
