Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mortgage originations with a well-developed client base.
• Must be eligible for NMLS under SAFE Act.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand internal and external referral sources.
• Work with borrowers to collect required information for underwriting.
• Submit applications and documents per regulatory guidelines.
• Provide ongoing updates to borrowers on loan status.
• Ensure timely conditions are fulfilled for underwriting/processing.
• Cross-sell bank products and deepen banking relationships.
• Support affordable housing initiatives for customers in the community.
• Maintain relationships with branch personnel within lending area.
• Ensure compliance with banking laws and internal policies.
