Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Traverse City, MI is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to develop referral networks, process residential 1st mortgages from application to closing, and meet sales objectives.

You will collect documentation, review credit, coordinate with processing, and maintain communication with branches and applicants to deliver timely updates. Requires knowledge of lending guidelines and NMLS registration.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of conventional and government lending guidelines.
• Experience with residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
• Fannie Mae Form 1003 completion and submission.

Responsibilities

• Develop referral networks with realtors, builders and professionals.
• Take applicant applications by completing the Fannie Mae Form 1003.
• Manage the loan pipeline from application to closing.
• Provide timely updates and progress reports to branches and applicants.
