Job summary

The role requires a valid AZ driver’s license, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong communication skills. You’ll help individuals grow toward independence while maintaining privacy and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Arizona driver's license and clean driving record.
• Be 21 years or older and able to communicate clearly.
• Able to use a computer proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide active direct physical assistance, supervision and behavioral support to individuals served in Agency programs
• Demonstrate safe workplace behavior as defined by Agency workplace safety plan
• Be honest
• Support individuals in developing skills to live as independently as possible
• Maintain knowledge of the individuals served and protect their privacy
• Serve as a positive role model for individuals served
• Assist in developing written objectives and skill plans
• Carry out skill development plans and routines as required by the Agency
• Assist individuals served in planning and participating in social, recreational, and educational activities
• Assist with and/or manage funds for individuals served as assigned
• Assist with personal hygiene, health & safety issues that affect them.
• Meet all background checks and personal history checks
