Job summary

Elwyn in Pennsylvania seeks a dedicated professional to support adults with behavioral health needs in our Adult Residential Treatment Facility. You will implement individual plans, facilitate groups, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote independence.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in human services or related field preferred OR 60 college credit hours with one year behavioral health experience preferred OR 30 college credit hours with two years behavioral health experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Must be able to perform CPR and crisis intervention techniques using agency-trained protocols
• Excellent customer interaction, collaboration, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Valid driver's license with 3 years driving experience in the United States and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to behavior management plans
• Advocate for individuals with outside support agencies
• Interface with families and other interested parties within consent limits
• Facilitate Psycho-Educational groups with Behavioral Health Professional support
• Plan and implement community integration plans for individuals
• Maintain communication with medical staff and pharmacist as needed
• Assist and train consumers in daily living activities
• Maintain a safe and clean living environment
• Respond to crisis situations following agency protocols
• Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team
