OLV Human Services operates a total of 8 IRAs (Individualized Residential Alternative) across Western New York, staffed with Direct Support Professionals (DSP). The 8 IRAs are divided into two departments: Northtowns (Amherst x2 houses, Buffalo, Tonawanda, Cheektowaga) & Southtowns (Lackawanna x3 houses). We are seeking a Residential Manager for an IRA in the Northtowns Department.

Job Summary:
The Residential Manager OPWDD oversees the operation and maintenance of their assigned site(s). They supervise, coach, and mentor DSPs supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to promote independence, productivity, and community integration, including family engagement.
Essential Job Duties:
- Manage the operation of their assigned residential site(s), directly or through delegation.
- Ensure compliance with DD Division and BVS policies, OPWDD regulations, and fiscal parameters.
- Partner with Maintenance to inspect the site for safety and a welcoming environment.
- Model accountability and positive leadership for DSPs.
- Resolve operational issues or seek assistance from the Program Coordinator.
- Attend internal and external training for professional growth.
- Train, mentor, and support DSPs at their site(s).
- Lead staff meetings focusing on team building and training.
- Assist in scheduling and staffing, maintaining safe ratios, and managing coverage.
- Oversee training in habilitation plans and safeguarding documents for each individual.
- Maintain accurate documentation for each individual’s services.
- Review documentation for completeness and accuracy, following up on gaps.
- Ensure DSPs are competent in Nurse Delegated Duties.
- Communicate with families and advocates as needed.
- Manage Personal Allowance Funds in accordance with regulations.
- Complete billing and payroll information accurately.
- Hire, train, and evaluate DSP staff.
- Participate in division and agency committees.
- Comply with all relevant federal and state policies, including HIPAA and whistleblower protections.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Program Coordinator or Director.

Education and Experience:
