Job summary

EIHAB Human Services, Inc. seeks a dedicated Residential Manager to lead daily operations of a residential home for adults with developmental disabilities in Toms River, NJ. The role drives quality care, staff supervision, and ISP development to promote independence.

You will coordinate appointments, manage medications, ensure safety, and advocate for residents within a compliant, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• HS Diploma/GED with 3+ years relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, or related field with 2 years preferred.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
• Oversee daily residential operations and staffing.
• Ensure quality care, safety, and compliance with DDD, DHS, and licensing regulations.
• Coordinate appointments, transportation, medications, and case management.
• Develop and implement Individual Service Plans (ISPs).
• Respond to behavioral incidents and crisis situations.
• Advocate for residents while promoting independence and community inclusion.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports.

The Residential Manager will oversee staff, ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate person-centered services, and serve as a strong advocate for the individuals we support.
