Job summary

AHRC New York City is seeking a Residential Manager for a Manhattan Group Home. The RM will oversee residence operations, ensure regulatory compliance, supervise direct support staff, and collaborate on service planning for residents.

Must have experience with IDD, OPWDD regulations, and a valid NYS or Tri-state driver’s license. High school diploma required; bachelor’s preferred. Compensation is $66,300/year with a comprehensive benefits package and weekend rotation; no overnights.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
• Experience as a supervisor in a residential setting preferred.
• Knowledge of OPWDD regulations required.
• Valid NYS or Tri-state driver’s license for more than one year is required.

Responsibilities

• Assumes overall responsibilities for the smooth operation of the residence.
• Ensures ongoing compliance and quality assurance with State and Federal regulations pertinent to the operation of the residence.
• Provides direct supervision of direct support staff assigned to the residence under his/her jurisdiction.
• Collaborates with the management team to create a program of services for each resident, and assigns tasks to the direct support team.
• Participates in comprehensive service planning activities with outside agencies for each resident under his/her jurisdiction.
