Job summary

Gateway at Ellington in Texas is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with multi-family experience to join our on-site team. The role includes repairs, preventative maintenance, and assisting in keeping the property inviting and safe for residents.

We offer a competitive hourly wage plus monthly commissions, benefits, a 401(k) with company match, and 50% discounted rent at the property you work at. A valid driver’s license and EPA HVAC certification are required.

Qualifications

• Verifiable maintenance experience in the apartment industry or multi-family housing.
• Capable of performing repairs and preventative maintenance to keep units market ready.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform various maintenance duties to maintain and enhance the community.
• Handle repairs and improvements of vacant apartments for market-ready status.
• Respond to resident service requests and assist in special maintenance projects.
