Job summary

Rock Creek Cattle Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Residential to support repair, maintenance, and safe operation across RCCC properties, including pools, cabins, and common areas. You will perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and timely repairs while communicating needs to management.

The role requires basic trades knowledge, ability to work varied hours, and a valid driver’s license. Certification as a Pool Operator is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical systems, and general facility maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete routine repairs safely and efficiently.
• Ability to work long, varied hours including overtime, nights, weekends, holidays, and seasonal schedules.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily walk-throughs of RCCC buildings using company checklists.
• Ensures facilities are operational and ready for business (Lodge, General Store, Golf Shop, Fitness Center, pools).
• Identifies, documents, troubleshoots, and repairs maintenance issues (lighting, detectors, paint, deficiencies).
• Supports seasonal guest-readiness of cabins (HVAC, connectivity, plumbing).
• Monitors and maintains pools, spas, and water features per procedures and codes.
• Reports safety concerns to management promptly per policy.
• Follows policies including attendance, safety, timekeeping, and dress code.
• Stays informed of events impacting maintenance operations.
