Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician in Pomona, CA to perform maintenance and ensure the buildings meet safety and cleanliness standards. You will handle work orders, complete preventative maintenance, and assist with the upkeep of common areas and grounds.

Responsibilities include managing inventory, coordinating with vendors, and documenting all service requests, with a focus on cost control and safety compliance. The role offers a housing discount and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience in property management.
• EPA Type I and II or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate equipment on the property.

Responsibilities

• Handle work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Prepare vacants for leasing, complete pre-move-out inspections and punch lists.
• Manage materials, inventory and coordinate with vendors and contractors.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking.
• Assist in groundskeeping and general property upkeep.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
