Job summary

Forest Properties Management, Inc. in Goffstown, NH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. You will perform corrective, preventative, cosmetic, and emergency maintenance across apartments and common areas to keep the community in top condition.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or painting experience, with HVAC/appliance repair a plus. Must lift 75 lbs and be available for on-call rotations, overtime, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have one year experience in carpentry, flooring, plumbing, electrical, or painting.
• Some HVAC or appliance repair experience preferred, but not necessary.
• Ability to lift 75 Lbs. or more, and engage in physical activities such as walking, crouching, bending, reaching small spaces, standing prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and heating/cooling system repairs as needed.
• Ensure all service requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Perform work necessary to make vacant apartments ready for lease. This includes cleaning when needed.
• Report any building, ground, or system issue to supervisor for further corrective action.
• Ability to communicate and work well with residents, colleagues, administrative staff, and vendors.
• Able to work a rotational on-call schedule, including overtime and weekends as needed.
